deckfactory
An internal operating system for presentations: a slide states what it claims — the look comes from an interchangeable style pack.

The brief
Every presentation began with the same decisions about colour, type and grid — and ended as a file from which nothing could be reused. Turning a document into a deck is also not a conversion problem but a compression problem.
The approach
Content and appearance are separated. One JSON file per deck holds only what each slide claims, with no colour, font or position in it. Style packs hold the opposite: design without words. Any pack renders any deck — the image shows the same slide in two packs. A slide that cannot state a claim has not earned its place.
What was built
Renderers for HTML, PDF and PPTX plus per-slide images. The HTML is self-contained and prints the PDF, so the two cannot disagree. The PPTX is produced independently from the same source and gets native tables, native charts and real speaker notes — the recipient edits numbers rather than a picture of them.
